I just want to take a moment to dedicate this post to my Dad Tom, who passed away on Friday morning. He was the most wonderful Father, Grandfather and Husband that one could ask for. One of my most fondest memories I will always treasure is how he would put me on my Mom's dresser when I was a very little girl and sing "Daddy's Little Girl " to me. I was the only daughter and that is a very special mantle to carry and everyone has told me how he always bragged about his Paula. I love him dearly and will miss him terribly, as we all will.

  1. My deepest condolences to you and your family, Paula. May you find comfort in the fond memories you have of your dad.

  2. Thanks for sharing with us, P. What a blessing to have a wonderful dad. Peace to you and your family.
Lots of love and Italian kisses to you.

  3. What a wonderful memory you have from your childhood of your dad. My heart goes out to and hopes that your memories help ease some of your pain. Love you

  4. Thank you for sharing your deepest lost… I love reading your blog and Paula, it broke my heart to read Heartbroken. I still remember those special days hanging out at your house in Brooklyn and hearing your parents laughing in the kitchen. My prayers and blessings go out to you, John, the kids; especially to your mom and brothers. Hold on to specials sweet memories of yesterday and share them with all who loved him to heal and keep him around forever….

  5. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, Paula. You and your family are in my prayers. You were truly blessed. (((hugs)))

  6. Thank you all for your kind words. These pics were from his surprise 70th 2 yrs ago. I told my brother Thomas to tell him to wait for me, that I was coming and he held on till John and I got to his bedside and we were with him when he passed. Maria, yes wonderful memories to cherish forever!
