Adore

I have a new layout I've done with Bo Bunny's Ambrosia line and a Thanksgiving Day card.  Love how they came.

Adore

This is a pic of my daughter Sophia at 20 months old holding my newborn granddaughter Aelyn. The flowers are a combo that I had in my stash.  The purple and coral colored ones I enhanced with Lindy sprays and doubling them up then hitting with some stickles.  The chipboard chain is from Blue Fern chipboard.  I love their pieces.  I gesso'd it then inked it and used Lindy's embossing powder and hot glued micro beads in some spots.  I cut the leaves with my cricut and embossed them as well.  The frame was cut with my cricut from the Home Decor cart.  I had the stickers for the title in my stash and glossy accented over them for some dimension.

Card

So, this card was inspired by Limor Webber.  I saw her tutorial back in July and just flew by the seat of my pants here technique wise without re-watching the video and found out I did it ALL wrong! LOL!!!  It still came out ok, but when I watched it again this morning I made sure to commit to memory just what she did and I will check it again if I'm not sure.  I used my embossing folder  for the wood texture and glazing liquid mixed with Lumin Arte Silks acrylic glaze.   That in itself was probably pretty darn redundant, but hey I'm lucky I even know my own name some days :)  Distress inks for the woody color and printed out the words in different fonts and colors then distress inked it.  Cricut cut leaves and Blue Fern chipboard piece in the corner done up with gesso, then Lindy embossing powders andstarburst  sprays.  I tied a bow at the bottom of the leaves to tie it all together.  I like it :)

Deck The Halls

Hi everyone :)  Wednesday is just about done and another school week is almost down.  I'm stoked for Saturday my LSS is having their annual Christmas Wrap It Up, different projects to make, new products to see and I can't wait! I've also been trying to go through some of my stash creating projects.  I have so many DCWV stacks and I really need to use them.  They are all way to nice to just stay piled in the closet!

This is a layout I did using DCWV Heirloom Christmas stack.  This one is really so pretty.  Bought it last year from Joann's and first used it in this layout of my collection of Christmas decor.  This pic is of just a very small vignette on my buffet.  I used texture paste tinted with my Lumin Arte Silks  in apricot nectar and sunflower along with my Prima Finnabair 6x6 doily mask for the pretty doily behind the circles.  I used smaller circles cut from the paper and doilies which I sprayed with Lindy's mist in California Poppy Gold on top of the larger circle. I cut poinsettias with my cricut and sprayed them gold too.  Little red beads make the center.  I also embossed flourishes on the bottom left with Lindys embossing powder in oakleaf olive from the Industrial Chic collection.  On the bottom right next to the small paper circles, I embossed a couple of circles with candy cane red. Of course the distressing of my papers for accenting and cut the title with my cricut.  Hope you like it :)

Happy Haunting Treat Bags

I made two treat bags for my granddaughters Halloween goodies this year. I used the Happy Haunting line from Graphic 45. This line is really so adorable! I did some fussy cutting and pop-up squares for some dimension.  They came so cute!  I started out with white bags and distressed them with black soot, then misted with Lindy's VaVaVa Voom Violet and Glimmermist Graphite.  Then I cut the papers down to fit the bags and just worked on them like I was doing a layout then glued them to the bags when they were finished!  The two little black tickets on the pumpkin bag was from a printout I found on Pinterest. Love em :)  Here are the pics -

I love G45!

Turning the clocks back tonight!  Yay!  I'm always messed up till I get this stinking hour back, the only time I'm ok is during summer break, but man I hate waking up in the dark so I am a happy happy girl!  Truly I wish they'd ditch daylight savings time.  The dark at night doesn't bother me at all, it's the dark in the morning that does.  Ok, I'm done complaining :)  Have a great week.
