In Your Eyes

Hi friends! I'm back with a layout for Lindy's Stamp Gang challenge and's music challenge. This is a pic that I've never scrapped though it is truly one of my most faves. It's my oldest dd Victoria at about 4 months old gazing adoringly into her papa's eyes. Love it! I love Lindy's mists for great coverage of EVERYTHING! Here's the color palate for this month, and you can access the blog challenge from my sidebar directly or from the title above -

Aren't the colors so rich and lovely this month!

Here are some pics -

My song for the challenge was Stand By You by Rachel Platten and I pulled the line In Your Eyes, which I printed then punched out with a tag punch. Some inking and a little butterfly and tucked it into the pic. The paper is Blue Fern's Sanctuary line. I did some texture paste and stencil with a Prima crackle stencil, some background stamping and lots of misting. Chippies are all Creative Embellishments except the title Adore, flowers are Prima, as well as the micro beads in plum.

My mists -
Peony Scarlet Red
My Mojito Green

Pocketletter Fun!

OMG gang!!! It's been three months since I've checked in, holy macaroni! Somehow the summer came and went without a single post from me. I think that's a good thing...

Any way I have a pocketletter to share with you that traveled all the way to India! A sweet gal on the Pocketletter website reached out to me and we swapped. That's the beauty of these letters. You connect with awesome peeps all over the world!

We decided on Graphic 45 for the theme, but our choice of line. I did French Country. I really love this line and have several pieces horded.

I really love making these sweet letters. If you haven't tried it go to Youtube and search them our got to the Pocketletter site and see for yourself.

Thanks for stopping by,

Hey friends! Been a few. Schools out, my daughter MaryAnn graduated, and now I have the summer to chill before it all starts again.

I have a layout for you that I'll be entering in a couple of challenges. The staple is the song challenge over on I love it we have a great time with it. The other two is More Than Words and Lindy's Stamp Gang color challenge. Click on their names to find out more.

Here is the inspo for More Than Words

We had to do some mixed media which I often do on my pages. The word is Imagine. When you see my layout, you'll find it hard to imagine that they aren't who they seem to be ;)

These are the colors for Lindy's. Such a beautiful summer pallet. I'll link the colors to their site at the end.

My song for the challenge was Lady by Kenny Rogers. In honor of Father's Day we chose songs by men. I didn't really like my song so my hubby gave me a great idea for the layout!

Let's check it out -

Yup folks, these are men. Can you IMAGINE that!!! They're from my four daughter's most fave show RuPaul's Drag Race. That's Violet, Pearl and Miss Fame. My daughters were quick to inform me that the pic of Pearl in the middle is an old one and she has gotten more glamorous.

I clear gesso'd my paper, don't ask me the line, it's a company that I don't think even exists anymore. I then misted and splatted combined with stamping for the background. My hexagon frame was cut with my Cricut and the Accent Essential cart, I welded the shapes together. My title was the Ashlyn cart. Some flowers from Petaloo, Zva and I Am Roses and there you go!

Here are the Lindy colors used -

Yellow Rose Of Texas
Raspberry Lemonade
Fuzzy Navel Peach
Tiffanylou Blue
Shabby Turbine Teal

Thanks for looking! Stop by these challenges to join the fun :)
