Memories

Hey friends! Hope this finds you all well :) Before I go any further I just want to share about our sweet furbaby Bruno. He passed last night, just shy of his 11th. He is loved and will be missed so very much. This is one of his first pics and the other was just last week. Bulldogs don't have very long lifespans so we feel very blessed that he shared his life with us for as long as he did. Look at him with a paci -

My layout this week was inspired by the music challenge over at scrapbook.com. My song was from Wiz Khalifa, When I See You Again. All the song choices were from movies for this round. I will also be putting it in the More Than Words Challenge, and Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge # RRR139

Here is the mood board for More Than Words, oh and please click here or my sidebar to visit and participate!

I pulled the blueish color from the edge of the sky for inspo. I've really been feeling that color lately. The word escape is found in my choice of subject, memories. Memories are so very powerful and you can escape sorrow or anger, feel joy and happiness just by thinking of past memories.

Here is my layout -

I LOVE banners, I just love them :) I decided to incorporate my pics as part of the banner and was able to get all these wonderful memories on there because of that! These are my kids and grandkids through the years of fun we've had together.

I used BoBunny's Welcome Home line along with Prima flowers and a chippie. Some ribbon and flat back pearls tie it together. I did a scattering of dots with Liquid Pearls for some extra sumpin sumpin. The verse I typed and then printed cut and inked and popped with foam squares. I cut a pretty little butterly out and put some stickles for sparkle. I'm pretty happy with it.

To view Really Reasonable Ribbon's challenge just click on their name, it's number RRR139 Things With Wings.

  1. Oh Paula, I am so very sorry for your loss, he looks like such a beautiful boy. I know your pain, I have been mummy to two staffie dogs who also only live to about eleven years, so I really know how you are feeling right now. As a footnote, I love your layout & thanks so much for sharing your memories with us over at More Than Words. Sending you a big cyber hug. xoxo
