Layer It Baby!

Howdy folks!  Welcome, happy Monday to ya :)  Today is my last Guest Design Post for Craft Hoarders Anonymous. After all this time, are you STILL not familiar with this lovely challenge spot?  If not, puhlease click on the title and give it a little peek, you won't be sorry I promise :D

This is challenge #18 Layer It!
One good way to use your hoard is to use lots of it all at once! So, let's see those layers! We need to see at least THREE layers on your project! (Ink, paint, embossing, and mixed media products do count as layers!) Drag out all of that hoarded paper or those embossing folders that are in the back of the drawer. Use those stamps, dies, and punches! Show us the layers!

The prize is a goody!  A Lindy's Stamp Gang Gift Certificate for $30 to their store. In case you haven't noticed, I use their mists and embossing powder almost exclusively.

On to my project.  This is a layout I did of my beautiful daughter Victoria and my granddaughter Gianna on Gi's graduation from 5th grade.  What a gorgeous pic.  I used Heartfelt Creation's paper, die and stamp sets here.  Check it out -

I love Heartfelt Creations papers and their dies and stamp sets.  I picked up quite a few things at the Expo a couple of weeks ago.  This is my newest product obsession.  Really lovely items, the paper collections are stunning.  It is awesome how you can stamp and then use the matching dies to cut out the pieces!  I cut clocks and flowers like crazy and had a blast.

My layers consist of paper, which I matted, stamping, embossing, texture paste with misting and splatting, and then of course the flowers and clock pieces.  I did a random punching on the left and right side of the pages rather than systematically punch it formally.
