This is a pic of my daughter Sophia at 20 months old holding my newborn granddaughter Aelyn. The flowers are a combo that I had in my stash. The purple and coral colored ones I enhanced with Lindy sprays and doubling them up then hitting with some stickles. The chipboard chain is from Blue Fern chipboard. I love their pieces. I gesso'd it then inked it and used Lindy's embossing powder and hot glued micro beads in some spots. I cut the leaves with my cricut and embossed them as well. The frame was cut with my cricut from the Home Decor cart. I had the stickers for the title in my stash and glossy accented over them for some dimension.

Card
So, this card was inspired by Limor Webber. I saw her tutorial back in July and just flew by the seat of my pants here technique wise without re-watching the video and found out I did it ALL wrong! LOL!!! It still came out ok, but when I watched it again this morning I made sure to commit to memory just what she did and I will check it again if I'm not sure. I used my embossing folder for the wood texture and glazing liquid mixed with Lumin Arte Silks acrylic glaze. That in itself was probably pretty darn redundant, but hey I'm lucky I even know my own name some days :) Distress inks for the woody color and printed out the words in different fonts and colors then distress inked it. Cricut cut leaves and Blue Fern chipboard piece in the corner done up with gesso, then Lindy embossing powders andstarburst sprays. I tied a bow at the bottom of the leaves to tie it all together. I like it :)

Thanks Tracey :) I had fun putting this together.
DeleteReally loving all the embossing you are doing! Both your layout and card just pop with color! You can just see the sparkle through the computer screen! The chain, what a nice perfect touch, just draws your eyes right to the picture! Which is "adorable".
