Pocketletters

Hi friends! Good golly! It's December! I know I've been really crummy with posting but I have a few projects to share with you now since it's been a while, Yes the pocketletter craze still has me in it's grasp but I've also discovered stuffed envelopes or something to that affect it's called which I think I'm going to give a whirl ;)

Any who here are a few pl's one of which went to India! My Christmas one was truly an honor because it went to Maria Cole from Paperiah who was on Graphic 45's dt and is their special projects designer. She asked to swap with me and you could've knocked me down with a feather. Click on her blog to see the amazing pl she sent to me!

First up Halloween -

Next up Thanksgiving using my hoarded A Place In Time from Graphic 45. This one went to India -

Last but not least my Christmas letter using an older Christmas line from Graphic 45, A Christmas Past.

The great thing about these little letters is I use quite a bit of my stash to make them. In these three not a single thing was bought. Oh and I must say I love my Silhouette Cameo! It cuts so beautifully :)

Inamorata

I told ya I'd be back with another layout for the Swirlydoos Excellent Book challenge! I couldn't resist doing a layout on this fun campy vampire lovefest, Halfway To The Grave, book one in the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. Give a click on to find out about the challenge, it's a lot of fun!

I used the Bejeweled kit for this, a gorgeous kit for sure. Filled with some beautiful papers from Blue Fern Studio's Sanctuary line, I did misting and random stamping as well as a border punch from We Are Memory Keepers. The chippie is Blue Fern too and also in the kit. Lots of layers here.

Such a fun challenge! Hope you enjoyed.

Outlander Layout and A Wedding Card

Welcome friends! Today I have a layout and a card to share with you. Over at Swirlydoos kit club there's a great challenge going on. It's excellent books! Well, I couldn't pass that up, I have a book blog for heavens sake! Have you visited Swirlydoos yet? Go check them out, what a great kit club it is, just click *HERE* for all the info, and click *HERE* for the challenge.

It's a good bet I'll be doing more than one layout for this challenge since I have a few really fave books :) but for now my layout is about Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Have you read it? Did you know that Starz has made it a series? Oh yes my friends and it is really good too! Ok, down to business, here's my layout -

I used the Spring Chic kit. What a gorgeous kit, stuffed with lucious goodies, like that pretty chippie from Creative Embellishments that I embossed in gold. The sweet little wood comb and all the flowers but for the maroon ones. I did some random punching of the edge and layered some banner cut mats under the pics of Jamie and Claire. The die cut swirls are Spellbinders Romantic vine. Lots of fun for sure.

I also made a wedding card for my cousin. I'm so lazy and should have had this done a couple of months ago. I really like how it came -

This background die from Spellbinders is just stunning. I layered it on top of glitter paper then a silver foil paper, two more times, and my quote I typed and printed up then cut with my nestability dies and edged with perfect pearls. The little butterflies were cut with the cricut.

Thanks for visiting friends! Get crafty and create,

Box Card Fun Featuring Graphic 45

Hey there friends, I have a box card or card in a box that I made and a video to go along with it. I've made this before for a loved teacher who retired this past June. These are just so cute and fun to make. They make such an impact and fold nice and flat for mailing. I used Graphic 45's Botanical Tea and A Ladies Diary Line. Here are some pics and the video.

I'm still perfecting the video making and editing but I hope you like it.

This is a pretty line. The flowers were made with Tim Holtz big shot die and the leaves are from Spellbinders greenery die. For the full tutorial stop by Carolyn's Creative Corner. Her directions are perfect! Do give it a go, you won't be disappointed :)

Tag Fun With Our July Tag of Savagery!

Friday is here friends! I have my tag that I made for Swirlydoos Twelve Tags Of Savagery! This challenge is lots of fun. I love tag making since they're small but pack a lot of punch! Click *HERE* to check it out. If you're looking for a kit club, check out Swirlydoos. What a great kit club Krissy puts together!

My tag -

I used texture paste and a Prima doily stencil, my gelatos to color it, a cute little die cut from Spellbinders to frame my Tim Holtz stamp. The small flowers are from my stash, the leaves from my Spellbinders die, and the gorgeous butterfly chippie is from Creative Embellishments. I treated it with Silks and Ingvilde Bolme chalk inks. The rest is from the fab kit Boy's Night Out.

I hope you like it, give Swirlydoos a visit! Thanks for coming by,
