Sweet

Happy Sunday friends! Hope you're having a restful and nice day. I know some of you are still experiencing the disgusting final death throws of old man winter :( I t really stinks to have a very late spring crazy winter snow storm come crashing through. I want to take a minute to brag on my daughter Sophia! She is an excellent dedicated student with a great determination and her fantastic grades demonstrate that. So much so that she is getting contacted by Ivy League colleges! She wants to be a vet and still has one more year of high school left, but we are very proud of her.

Onto my layout. This is for a few challenges on scrapbook.com as well as Lindy's April color challenge. Got it in on the last day! You can check out the color inspo and rules by clicking HERE for all the info, or on my sidebar :)

Aren't the colors like yummy candy! I manged to use all of the shades too :)

My papers are from Bluefern Studios, and they're a combo that I had in my stash. I did stenciling and misting along with splats of Lindy's.  Some background stamping and I popped my pic and the matting on foam for dimension and added my flowers. The title was cut with my cameo and is from the song Samson by Regina Spector. My hubby is my sweetest downfall :) and those shakes from Holstein's in Vegas are too! LOL! The little tag has my journaling which says - Enjoying a fun weekend in Vegas. We don't get away often, so this was fun! Holstein's was a great adventure. 11/13

Girls Night!

Well I'll be! Two posts in a month! I'm back with another layout for some of my favorite challenges. More Than Words is such an awesome challenge that gives you such great inspo to get those creative juices flowing! Click on their title to go and find out more, you won't be disappointed.

Here's the mood board for March -

Isn't it perfect! I love butterflies and use them a lot in my layouts.

The next challenge is Lindy's Color Challenge. I've shocked the crumbs out of myself and have entered twice in both of these for the month! I love all of Lindy's coloring products. From their mists to their embossing powders. They also have color shots that are so versatile. Click on their name to find out all the deets on the challenge.

Here's Lindy's color inspo board -

Here is my layout for these challenges -

The pic is of my daughters and I when we went out to see Magic Mike 2 in June of 15. We saw the first together on opening night and we went to this one on opening night too :D We also went to dinner and snapped this pic. It isn't the best pic, I took it with my phone, but it is an awesome memory! The papers are from Blue Fern Studios, and the flowers have been in my stash for a while. I did some stenciling with texture paste and background stamping. My title and butterflies were cut with my cameo.

Lindy's Colors
mad hatter mint
cosmopolitan pink
clam bake beige
cocklebells coral
freaky franken lime

This layout is also for the music inspo challenge on sb.com. My song was It's Raining Men by the Weather Girls and the twist was to NOT use a weather related word in your title. Let me say the lyrics aren't many inspiring layout material and it took me almost the whole month to decide on the pic and lyrics to use.

I hope you like my layouts, thanks for coming by!

Cherish

Hi friends! Wowzers!!! November 1st, holy macaroni almost the end of the year. Live life folks it goes by in a snap!

I'm here with a layout and a pocketletters. My layout is for the music challenge over on scrapbook.com, my song was Did You Fall In Love With Me by Praire Oyster. Very sweet song. I pulled the title and used it as an embellishment.

My papers are from Blue Fern's Sanctuary line along with their chippie, also lots of misting from Lindy's -

That's me and the hubs at 15 and 17!

Now for my pocketletters I did for swapsies. One was a Autumn the other was Mary Engelbreit who I love -

In Your Eyes

Hi friends! I'm back with a layout for Lindy's Stamp Gang challenge and sb.com's music challenge. This is a pic that I've never scrapped though it is truly one of my most faves. It's my oldest dd Victoria at about 4 months old gazing adoringly into her papa's eyes. Love it! I love Lindy's mists for great coverage of EVERYTHING! Here's the color palate for this month, and you can access the blog challenge from my sidebar directly or from the title above -

Aren't the colors so rich and lovely this month!

Here are some pics -

My song for the sb.com challenge was Stand By You by Rachel Platten and I pulled the line In Your Eyes, which I printed then punched out with a tag punch. Some inking and a little butterfly and tucked it into the pic. The paper is Blue Fern's Sanctuary line. I did some texture paste and stencil with a Prima crackle stencil, some background stamping and lots of misting. Chippies are all Creative Embellishments except the title Adore, flowers are Prima, as well as the micro beads in plum.

My mists -
Peony Scarlet Red
My Mojito Green

Click on either color to go right to their shop! Thanks for looking,
