Pocketletter Fun!

OMG gang!!! It's been three months since I've checked in, holy macaroni! Somehow the summer came and went without a single post from me. I think that's a good thing...

Any way I have a pocketletter to share with you that traveled all the way to India! A sweet gal on the Pocketletter website reached out to me and we swapped. That's the beauty of these letters. You connect with awesome peeps all over the world!

We decided on Graphic 45 for the theme, but our choice of line. I did French Country. I really love this line and have several pieces horded.

I really love making these sweet letters. If you haven't tried it go to Youtube and search them our got to the Pocketletter site and see for yourself.

Lady

Hey friends! Been a few. Schools out, my daughter MaryAnn graduated, and now I have the summer to chill before it all starts again.

I have a layout for you that I'll be entering in a couple of challenges. The staple is the song challenge over on scrapbook.com. I love it we have a great time with it. The other two is More Than Words and Lindy's Stamp Gang color challenge. Click on their names to find out more.

Here is the inspo for More Than Words

We had to do some mixed media which I often do on my pages. The word is Imagine. When you see my layout, you'll find it hard to imagine that they aren't who they seem to be ;)

These are the colors for Lindy's. Such a beautiful summer pallet. I'll link the colors to their site at the end.

My song for the challenge was Lady by Kenny Rogers. In honor of Father's Day we chose songs by men. I didn't really like my song so my hubby gave me a great idea for the layout!

Let's check it out -

Yup folks, these are men. Can you IMAGINE that!!! They're from my four daughter's most fave show RuPaul's Drag Race. That's Violet, Pearl and Miss Fame. My daughters were quick to inform me that the pic of Pearl in the middle is an old one and she has gotten more glamorous.

I clear gesso'd my paper, don't ask me the line, it's a company that I don't think even exists anymore. I then misted and splatted combined with stamping for the background. My hexagon frame was cut with my Cricut and the Accent Essential cart, I welded the shapes together. My title was the Ashlyn cart. Some flowers from Petaloo, Zva and I Am Roses and there you go!

Here are the Lindy colors used -

Yellow Rose Of Texas
Raspberry Lemonade
Fuzzy Navel Peach
Tiffanylou Blue
Shabby Turbine Teal

Thanks for looking! Stop by these challenges to join the fun :)

Be Mine Banner

Hi friends! A quick share today. This is a banner I made using Graphic 45's ABC Primer and By The Sea collections. I'm entering it in their February challenge. I love the versatility of their lines, there really aren't any bounderies.

I dipped my letters and the cute little scrabble printables in UTEE, sometimes I forget how awesome that stuff is! As of the last few projects I have fallen in love with it again.

I love the tulle for tying it together! Some hearts cut with my cricut and teeny flowers. A few cuttouts from A Place In Time to give it more embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Some Fun Graphic 45 Home Decor

A quick check in to share some Halloween/fall decor I made with Graphic 45's An Eerie Tale line. This one is rather versatile, you can use it for other types of pieces too.

The colors here are gorgeous! First I mounted the paper on chipboard for stability. I made it dimensional with foam squares and added some stickles for my beloved sparkle. Fussy cutting and a vine cut with my cricut makes for a pretty little piece. I have it hanging in my home, some things I just can't part with...
