Echo Park Mini

I made a t.p. mini for a contest Echo Park papers held using their Summer Fun line.  I have no clue if I entered it correctly since you had to upload your work to their facebook page, and it belongs to my hubby, I don't do facebook.  It's kinda funny cuz he has these scrap company sites that I liked on his page but I only use it to enter contests!

Any how, this is the book I made -

The papers are real cute!  I like em.

On a side note, my daughter Victoria entered my hubby in the Best Dad Contest.  If you can, I'd love for you all to vote when it starts.  Here's the link, and it's the pic of him holding Vic when she was about 5 months old.  He was only 18 in that photo!!

Video Fun!

So I've been playing around with some video of the mini-album of Twilight that I made.  I figured so many of the scrap gals out there make videos I'd give it a whirl too :)  I'm so used to doing the slide shows that this was a bit awkward.  I have to get used to the camera position as well as making sure it's in focus. At the rate I'm going I won't be ready to sell anything till fall!  I need to step it up some ;)

I've also did a lo of Des and John together, I love how it came :)   This was made with the Fairy Belle collection from Prima, gosh I love that line it's just gorgeous.  I made pleated flowers, used a doily, stickles and glimmer mist along with some bling and fussy cut the fairy to lay her over and pop her up with glue dots.  The pics aren't the best, but you can see how nice it came

Hope you liked them!  Have a good rest of the week.

What I've Been Up To

I have been working on albums that I want to sell at the booth I want to open at Market Night.  So far I have the three banners and 4 minis.  Right now I'm working on two Twilight minis and then I'll do four class of 2012's for the two local high schools in my town.  I also did an awesome tag swap hosted by Laura Denison of Following The Paper Trail.  I've given her some blog love, but if you haven't checked out her blog yet, just click on her title.  She is an awesome artist, and on g45's design team.

Here are some pics of the minis I've done so far -

This is for a toddler boy(obviously :p) I made pockets for plenty of pics and journaling

This is for a girl with the same principle of lots of pic space.  I made the roses myself with my cricut die, there are tutorials out there and it is so easy -

Everything I used to make these was in my stash but for the little boxes that I got at Mikes for 99 cents.

Next up is the tag I made for the Shabby Chic tag swap.

This was made with Prima's Fairy Belle line.  Oh my this is a gorgeous bunch of papers.  I bought an 8.5x11 stack at my lss and just love it!  I also bought a couple of 12x12 sheets for a lo of John and Des that I want to do.  Any way the tags -

Here are 2 vacation envelope minis I made and used my bind it all to bind them :)  Lots of pocket space.  Love that for pics.  I used my glossy accents on the titles to give it some dimension and on some of the fish stickers.

Hope  you like them!  On a side note, what do you all think of bloggers upgrade.  I hate change, so I don't like it too much :p
