Be Mine Banner

Hi friends! A quick share today. This is a banner I made using Graphic 45's ABC Primer and By The Sea collections. I'm entering it in their February challenge. I love the versatility of their lines, there really aren't any bounderies.

I dipped my letters and the cute little scrabble printables in UTEE, sometimes I forget how awesome that stuff is! As of the last few projects I have fallen in love with it again.

I love the tulle for tying it together! Some hearts cut with my cricut and teeny flowers. A few cuttouts from A Place In Time to give it more embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by!

More Than Words

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by! I have a new layout here featuring a sweet sweet pic of my baby Sophia holding my days old granddaughter Aelyn. What a precious memory to save. I'm entering it into this new challenge site, More Than Words. Give a click, it's a neat concept! The prompt is the word Wonderful, and show some sparkle. Well you all know that's a breeze for me ;) Love me some sparkle!

The pic I chose represents a small glimpse of all that is wonderful in my life. My baby isn't a baby any more, and the same for my granddaughter who is now a high school freshman, but they are truly wonderful beings! Being so close in age they're more like sisters than aunt and niece. I'm also using it for my song challenge over at My song was I Got You Babe from Sonny and Cher and decided to go this way with it.

We have Graphic 45's Little Darling,  Sweet Sentiments, and Once Upon A Springtime along with a smidgen of fussy cut flowers from Secret Garden. The flowers were made with Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur stamp and die set which I colored with Lindy's mists, and the chippie is from Dusty Attic. A bit of texture paste and stenciling along with my butterflies and some stickles for sparkle.I love all the layers. A perfect memory saved. I have a Snapguide where you can view the process, just click.

Hope you like it and have a great rest of the week!

Forever And A Day

Hello Bloggy friends! Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ya!!! LOL! I can't believe I haven't posted since October! I have been busy for sure between work and the holidays, and I'm trying to strike a balance between home time and work. Not easy but trying to get there. Any way I hope all had wonderful holidays filled with family friends and great memories made.

This layout is for the music challenge going on over at My song was Those Were The Days. Not a particular fave, but the lyrics are workable to a great layout. I used Graphic 45's Gilded Lily and Sweet Sentiments lines along with texture paste and stenciling topped with some glitter, lots of Lindy's mist and some stamping. I got some more texture in there with cheese cloth and pretty glitter dots. The chippy is from Creative Embellishments and I gesso'd it then misted and gelato treated for the color. Butterflies and stickles for a finishing touch. The title are foam like stickers I picked up from Hobby Lobby, gotta love the employee discount :D

This pic is from the summer, hubby and I went to the Redlands Bowl for a wonderful evening of music together.

Thanks for visiting!
