Eternal

Happy Friday folks! I'm back with a layout for two challenges. The Lindy's Stamp Gang color challenge, which you can access on my side bar or *HERE*, and Swirlydoos Swirly Girl Challenge, you can check that out *HERE* This month's challenge was Ceremony. Being June, you have weddings, graduations, promotions and I went with wedding :)

I have been a Lindy's fan for a few years now.  Love their bright mists, they color so well. The embossing powder is great too! My flowers and background got some misting in really pretty colors.

This is Lindy's board for June

Here's the pics -

I carried a circle theme, pulling from the rings in the pic, basing the layout with first a mask of circles with texture paste, then some mod podge with the mask and micro beads sprinkled, Creative Embellishments circle chippie cut into two and put behind the mats. Some river rock stamping and finishing with my flowers, and title, Eternal for the never-ending circle. Pleased with my finished piece, of course I put a couple of butterflies for just a little sumpin sumpin ;)

Lindy mists used (colors in italic bold for the challenge) -

Ramblin Rose Pink
Pink Ladies Pink
Time Travel Teal
TiffanyLou Blue
Down The Rabbit Hole
Frozen Jack Frost

Thanks so much for the visit!

Brothers: Swirlydoos Round Robin

Hi friends! I'm back with a layout I made for the Round Robin challenge going on over at Swirlydoos :) This month it's all about the men in our lives in honor of father's day.  I used my Wistful Blues kit filled with gorgeous Bo Bunny and Riddersholm papers along with some fun embellishments and texturing and stamping.

A crackle stencil from Prima, which was very delicate, not a heavy touch at all, is behind the pics along with my Creative Embellishments background stamp in a grid like pattern. The pretty ivy chippy is from them as well. Check out all their goodies *HERE*  I also used my brand new Spellbinders nestablities frame and I love them. Gonna use the tip of wax paper for easier release for sure next time. Shoulda realized that they give these tips out for a reason :p

This is my hubby with his (obviously) brothers from the font of all pics, Desirae's wedding ;) The challenge asked to use chippies and metal. The pin was in the kit and the charms were from my stash as was the key hole. Love the burlap behind the pic as a mat and the sayings stickers which gives a very faint layer in the left corner. The flowers don't overpower, nor do them fem it up, nice touch. These were all in the kit also. Krissy really packs them! The stamping is very faint, I did a vine along with the grid pattern.

Hope you liked, thanks for the visit!

A Box Card And More

Hey everyone! It's been a while :) Sometimes life just ties you up, and while I've been creating I haven't had the extra time to get my projects loaded up and then blogged about.

These are some cards and a gift bag I've made for my mom and two teachers. Take a look -

Mother's Day Card -

This card was made with printables that I got off of Pinterest. Such lovely pieces from the seed packets to the roses that I fussy cut and stickled. The quote I printed up then cut with my nestabilties die.

Botanical Garden Gift Bag -

I also included some scraps from A Ladies Diary line of Graphic 45's (clock and flowers) also, another Pinterest printable in the butterfly.

Teacher's Appreciation Card  -

This was made with Graphic 45's An ABC Primer collection. I just adore this line! Santino's teacher sent a note home asking if it was G45 and if I made it!

Now this one is a great one! I found a tut on Pinterest for box cards, just click *HERE* so you can make it too, and took it from there -

Another ABC Primer project. I used my Heartfelt Creations stamp and die set in Sun Kissed Fleur, a Big Shot flourish sizzlet that I've had for a million years, my Brenda Walton Medallion die for my pleated medallions. Some fussy cutting and chippies from the ABC Primer set to finish it off. I love how it came, not hard at all, super fun to make and embellish! What's really great is it folds flat for giving. This is going to a very special teacher who is retiring, both Sophia and Santino had her and I volunteered in both of their kinder class for her. A gem and we're sad she's going. I'm also making her a flip album, which I'll share when done.

Thanks for visiting!
